Month: April 2014

Life is interesting

My life has been crazy of late. Just two days ago was my parent’s 25th anniversary celebration at our church. Now, knowing our family, we didn’t start planning the party and inviting people until two weeks before the event.Β  My mother wasn’t supposed to plan it, so it could be a surprise, but she did anyway. And that was a good thing. The party was pulled off with considerable amounts of stress and fun, and plenty of wondering how this thing was going to work. But it did, and it was fun. However, us girls have all said that we aren’t going to plan our weddings, and begin the plans at least six months before the event. Of course, none of us have any prospects of marrying any time soon. πŸ™‚ And now my parents are enjoying a weekend in Orlando. πŸ™‚

Of course, no post is complete without updates…. I realized that I never posted about the last film meeting we had, which was at least a month ago, probably two. It was fun and small and not very yet somewhat productive. At least, once I got over the awkwardness of it. See, Mr. Ortiz has apparently deemed us able to do this thing without his help, so he hasn’t come to the last two film meetings. Which takes some getting used to, but it’s okay. I might be getting a job, so a good deal of it will prolly go to costuming, though we will have the chain-mail covered.Β  Daniel Ursu, Suki’s brother, taught himself to make it, and he has agreed to make some for the film. Though he appreciates help. I would, but I know that if I am doing anything towards the film, it should be writing theΒ  script. Which I will be able to do more consistently once the history class I attend is over which is in two more classes, I think. I hope. Perhaps I shall be able to blog more often as well. As long as I do math. I don’t like math. But if I want to graduate I have to do it. :/

Till next time,

~Emily

Time and Matter

Hola all my readers!

I know it has been awhile since I posted, and even longer since I posted an update on the film or any of my stories, for that matter. However, this is not an apology post, since I do not see any regularity coming to this blog. If you know me, you would understand that. πŸ˜‰ I suppose I should give you an update on the film then…

I have worked more on the script, and have downloaded a free trial on our family PC so I can work on it when I have the time. It is for thirty days of use, so if I don’t use it, it wont run out. It’s splendid. πŸ˜€ I do need to work on it, though.

Life has been crazy since I posted last… In that time, we had a visitor from Pennsylvania for a week, mama went to Missouri for ten days, and Carissa went to Central America for a week. Oh, and Mama, Cheryl, Esther and I were rear-ended last Friday. Busy. The minivan is okay, and so are we. Mama is going to need therapy again though. Oh, and the day of the accident I’d gotten two fillings… I don’t like going to the dentist. πŸ˜›

Next Thursday is my parents 25th wedding anniversary, so we are doing a celebration, complete with recital of the vows. We had a family meeting last night, and we figured out how the ceremony is going to go. It will be fun. πŸ˜€

I guess that’s all…
