No, I’m not quitting my blog.

I’ve been thinking about goodbyes. Recently, I said goodbye to my grandpa for the last time. He looked me in the eye, same as always, and said “be good.” I miss that. I won’t ever hear it from him again.

Saying goodbye to him made me think of how we never know when is the last goodbye. We think everyone will be around forever, but that is simply not the case. People die, and leave, and move on, and we never see them again.

Don’t take for granted the time you have with your loved ones, because you never know when it could be taken away. Cherish your family and your friends.
